Francesca Aliverti hosts this Ecosystem Zoom In that lands in Greece – not your most obvious choice when selecting an innovative country but that is certainly taking off with its different iniciatives – TedXAthens, E.G.G (Eurobank) and Foud.ation are a few of the examples of iniciatives that are leading this movement, and we brought the founders – Dimitris Kalavros-Gousiou (Found.ation, Velicity Partners, TEDxAthens) and Roula Bachtalia (e.g.g. – Eurobank) themselves to tell us more about it. Dimitris Kalavros-Gousiou
In 2012, Dimitris co-founded Found.ation, Greece’s premier innovation and startup hub. In 2017, they created Velocity.Partners, a pre-seed and seed venture capital fund that invests in hyper-ambitious tech founders in Greece and abroad. A while back, in 2009, he also founded TEDxAthens, one of the world’s first TEDx events.
