The financial sector is not an exception and that’s why we invited two super guests to discuss open innovation and fintech.
David Rasson, Innovation Lead at De Cronos Groep, explained his point of view of how cooperation between banks and startups happens, warning also about technical issues that emerge when open innovation projects are in place.
João Dias, Chief Digital Officer at Novobanco, stressed the role of the pandemic in accelerating the startup ecosystem in Portugal but also talked about the challenges faced in the industry that still has a strong incumbent culture.
