Breaking Banks Europe meets Block.IS! The mission of our show is to highlight European Fintech at large with a special taste for specific projects along the way – one of which, is the Block.IS. A European Commission project that set sail to find, nurture and boost solutions and clusters across the continent in the search for blockchain solutions that can impact the European economy. Hence, we are introducing you to this project in this episode hosted by Matteo Rizzi (FTS Group), accompanied by Vytautas Černiauskas (CIVITTA), António Damasceno (F6S), Babis Ipektsidis (Intrasoft International), and Danijel Pavlica (InoSens) – 5 of the structural orchestrators behind the initiative. Block.IS is an EU-funded acceleration programme that aims to build an open and collaborative cross-border, cross-sectoral innovation ecosystem that fosters the use of blockchain technology in three vital sectors for the European economy: agrifood, logistics and finance.
